My brakes have turned to [censored]!

As title realy, but has anyone got any suggestions as to what may be the cause. I left my car unused for a few days and ever since the brakes have been poor. I've done 300 mile since so temporary scale etc has been cleaned off. The pedal feels spongy and feels like brake fade even when the discs are cold.

I've heard of glazed pads, is this a realistic cause and can it be fixed?

thats is really spooky, as mine are exactly the same they had been fine up until christmas, car was left for a few days in between christmas and new year and ever since, peddle is slightly softer and it needs more pedal movement to get it to bite and they feel as though they are constantly faded until you really push the pedal.

i blame the weather or maybe moisture in the brake fluid???
