Happy new year everyone.

I have had my A3 since December 03 and have always thought it was a 110 TDI.

However when I went for my MOT renewal last week the guy in the service desk (wasn't an audi dealer)

was askin me some questions about the car and how it drives, power etc as he is interested about

getting one.

He mentioned that it was the 130 BHP engine due to the engine code. (he had checked a parts manual)

So my question is how do I go about finding out what BHP the engine has?

Check the data sticker in the spare wheel well in the boot. This tells you all the info about the car (in German) at time of build. The output is in Kilowatts (1 bhp = 0.75kW approx.), so a 110 bhp car will show 82.5kW, a 130 bhp = 97.5kW.
