hi chaps newbie with a prob on a a3 (1999)1.8t.
we have had to start the car the other day after the metal part that locates into the ignition switch from the barrell broke off.
so know we have the key in the ignition (for the transponder) and start the car using a screwdriver in the switch.
Which part do i need to replace seen as the switch works fine, the key is present etc...will it be the barrell
