wilwood pads

I'm getting the annoying squeal from my brakes and so put some copper grease behind the pads but this only stopped it for a day, but I'm now wondering should the pads have a backing to stop the squealing? as they are now doing my head in and need them sorting. thanks in advance

Not too sure on this, but dont replacement pads come with Anti Squeal Shims or something.

The pads I fitted to my S3 came with a sticky back as did the VW golf ones I fitted to my wifes car
