Put some genuine Audi ones on the front with some BOSCH pads today.... Cleaned up the old slider pins, re-greased them, assembled and everything was looking good. Started to bed them in which was no problem but found that the protective coating wasn't wearing evenly on the NSF disc... The inner most 20% wasn't wearing away when compared with the OSF disc... (the pad didn't seem to be making complete contact with the disc else it would be removing the coating).
So something's worn... Any ideas what? I've read about the solid bushings for the sliders but I dont want to waste money finding out the solution as money's tight right now
