    boost gauge reading

    Afternoon.

So i have my gauge fitted and it reads what i suspected! very low.

20 wotsits for vacuum and 3psi boost.

does this point at boost leak? there is nothing obvious so i think i will pressure test it, otherwise it runs fine.

    Steve

Ye, thats around actuator pressure I think. Have a look at your N75 valve and check its all connected right. Also were have you plumbed you gauge into.

just been reading this and disconnected the actuator. boosted fine. so guess this means n75.

on going boost problem, help please.

heres a picture. does it look about right? top pipe disapears off towards the turbo. left pipe goes towards wastegate

I plumbed the gauge into fuel pressure reg as these instructons.

good news i think! hopefully someone can confirm what i have done is correct. based on advice from elsewhere i took my DV off and blew into the small nipple end. i had to blow hard but air did pass! so i guess diaphragm is knackered and is only letting 3psi build up. does this make sense?

i have no codes shown from VCDS.
