i think thats wat it is called, on my old A3 s reg, it didnt have the Display which tell yous everything if u no wat i mean,

i want this on my new A3, from wat yr did this start from ?

I don't think it was year specific, but more likely model specific. The higher models had it as standard. Not sure if it was a cost option on the lower models.
All the 1.8T's had it and all the quattro's, but I've seen TDi non quattro's without it.

You get it as standard with SE without on Sport. But it's an option on the sport ... someone correct me if I'm wrong

yeah just the standard sport (90 TDI & 1.6) not sure about the Ts or Tqs
