ok went out started car this morning very ruff idling and went a drive and wouldnt go the ecu light came on i stalled it and headed home after restarting it and left her idling for a while came out 5 10mins later went to go a drive and she was ok again whats up any pointers

you need to get it on vag com to diagnose it properly otherwise it can get expensive

found on ebay at £15-25 each, depends on what type do u have

first check on vagcom to see if that's the problem, as others said...

if you have that type of coilpack (from ebay link) get access to them by removing the engine cover panel, then unplug them, pull them up and that's it! takes a few minutes.
the other type has 2 screws each to be removed
