Unfortunately the S3 grille is much bigger than the A3 grille... about an inch in height! and its a different shape also, so you cant get it to fit. Alot of aftermarket bumpers like my RS3 one, and a few otehrs use the S3 grille and not the A3 grille. There are plenty of aftermarket A3 grilles out there... some better than others.

I had to make a snap decision on this one before I managed to get an anwer from the forum... And yep, Rich is dead right... Also it means if anyone wants one for their S3 or aftermarket bumper, I've got a complete S3 grille sitting here still in the bag it came from Ingolstadt in. PM offers if anyone's interested (I think I paid something like £38/40 for it).
