Looking at HID's ... advice please :)

a friend of mine can get some HID's some decent-ish ones for a decent price fitted

i have an audi 56 plate 1.9TDI sport


i have heard there is a commom problem with the wiper motor blowing? how common is this ?
and how to much to fix the problem if it happens? and is there anyway of avoiding this?

Ive heard of this one the wiper motor so ice been told is £300ish

Need to ask a mod to move this to the 8P section mate your in the 8L lol.
I personal wouldnt go for hid just as i dont really feel like replacing the wiper motor and knowing my luck it would happen to me lol. So im just gonna get some xenon headlight and upgrade the bulbs. You will probably get alot more response once in the 8P section aswell. I think a few guys have gone with HID kits.
