hi any help please

tuck car in for mot two days ago and it failed on emmisions so put car
on vag com yesterday and all these popped up god nose whats coursed them all.

00526 brake light switch
17705 pressure drop between turbo and throttle valve
17833 evap valve - short to ground
17525 lambda sensor heating circuit - short to ground
17861 exhaust gas temp sensor - open or short to plus
16486 massair flow sensor - signal too low
17523 lambda sensor heating - short to ground
17511 lambda sensor heating - performance too low
17522 lambda sensor internal resistance too high
:(

clear them all
go for a drive and see what comes back some could be old

17522 lambda sensor internal resistance too high.....

looks like you need a lambda sensor to me.

And that fact that he failed an emmisions test doubles that point!

Brake light is an easy and cheap one to fix, the electrical shorts might be temperary, give it a scan when engine is normal op temp.

sorry forgot to mention i cleared the faults after and then they come back
with all the lambda faults could it not be a fuse or something or one fault triggerz them all cheers

got these two faults as well people what do they mean

01314 engine control module
18057 powertrain data bus missing message from abs controller
17705 pressure drop between turbo and throttle valve

cheers for any help

17705 - boost leak?

Lambda and egt sensor fault explains emissions fail.
Need new maf
Dunno what evap valve is.

And abs controller and brake switch will be responsible for ESP problem.

I'd sort cheapest first. And inspect them all to see if hardware is ok

thanks very much mate great help notice car is alot slower now aswel ill get brake light switch tomoz
hopefully that stops that one then have to be my lambda sensor on manifold as changed the other one
yesterday drinks like i fish mate ha

iv checked car through and cannot find a leak anywhere had water and wasing up liquid on all pipes and nothing

maf changed that and nothing changed so put oldone back on

Yeh it will be down on power as fueling will be all over show.
Mine drinks like a fish too, not good.
New maf didn't erase that fault? I dunno wat else it would be.

Try the Intercooler pipes for the pressure drop. And the dv and pipes to and from it.

well all pipes will all be get checked again next week end when i mess about with car as i do eery saturday

flipping fuel e new maf it is then tar karl
