Awesome GTI and PSI Tuning both use AET. I went down to PSI Tuning and Pete kindly showed me a K04 hybrid built by AET, first hybrid i've seen up close so i can't comment on what is 'better' but it did look well put together.

Would this be beneficial to do on an oem K04 rebuild also or is it for the hybrid only due to the extra flow?

No not on a OEM rebuild, needed on a hybrid wanting to break 300bhp

Bill had to port wellys to stop creep

This is very true. But then again, I am trying to extract as much as the little hybrid can give. I am not happy with 300 BHP when I know she can give more.
