Revs dropping and cutting out

Just started doing this, maybe its the cold but its getting annoying.

I'll be driving down the road and come to a junction, dip the clutch and the revs drop to 400 then come back to 950rpm, some times it will cut out?

Last time this happened to me it was a vacuum leak. Take a look at the various vacuum pipes post turbo. Also a clean up of the throttle body can cure this.

hmm sounds like my crank sensor issue, vagcom scan will confirm

It's probably the vac pipe under the inlet manifold.

I had this recently, went through all of the above, turned out to be the MAF.

Had a new maf fitted

Clutch switch? Not had an issue with this switch personally but i've heard the odd story about them lol

I would of thought it was the MAF to be honest, possibly try unplugging it and see if it still does it
