    head lamp washers on s3

    hi chaps,
    since i have owned my s3(12months now) my headlamp washers have never worked, ive been told it could be the relay?? as they dont look like they are getting power to them

    can anyone give me some help and advice??

    They dont have electrical power as such they work by pressure, not sure how they know if the lights are on or not though....

    mine wouldnt work until i replaced the pump for them that sits on the front side of the washer bottle,

    oh right nice one...how much was it? and is it easy to get to? i have a ramp as work which should be able to make it easier

    Lights must be on and you pull the stalk towards you and hold for a few seconds...
    If still nothing, must be the pump!

    as i remember i think it was about 18. pain to fit tho because of the light, might be easier to remove the light slightly giving more room behind it.

    thinking about it now it may have been pretty dear but wasnt that much, from audi in manchester.
