    Upgrade to Xenon bulbs on mainbeam

    Hello all

    Im looking to see if it is posible to Upgrade to Xenon bulbs on mainbeam or is there a conversion kit for the job.

    Yes simple to do, a bit expensive just for main beam though...
    Plus i dont think it will do the xenon any good when you flash somebody a brief second....and they would not be bright on a flash as they have to warm up.....

    Can be done, will cost max 45 from ebay for the kit. I have done a bi-xenon on another car bulb is H4-3 on Sunday, this mean both hi/lo beams are replaced for xenon. it works fine it's not as dim as when you first start up your low beam xenons.

    plus I have seen high and low beams OEM fitted to new MB E class they look really good.
    S3-8L REVO stage 2, Milltek, 3" DP & custom 3" decat, RS2 spark plugs, 4 bar FPR, Green-Cotton uprated upper/lower boost hose & TIP, Front Zimmerman & Ferrodo. LCR spliter. boost gauge, smoothed AB. Aero blades, H&R 5mm spacers. Best time 14.03sec, 0-62 in 5.7sec. 207gs @ 25psi , polished inlet mani. VAGCOM 805.1

    Do a search on ebay a H1 kit should cover it, I cant be 100% sure but I think thats what it is.
    6000K is nice.
    here is an example.
    XENON HID Kit H1 9005 h7 HB3 HB4 6000k 2 ballast +BULB on eBay (end time 05-Dec-10 03:45:26 GMT)

    Iv'e been told not to by HID Direct as this can bolw the wiper motor on the A3's anyone heared of this one.
