was just looking at a picture of the rear diff assembly, thinking how alot of people would like a more 50/50 power setup and thought how hard would it be to remove the haldex and fit something to link the prop to the diff?. just a thought and to see wheather it would be possible.
 
would need a diff in the middle for permanent 4.

^^ This. If somehow the clutch was made to fully lock up between the prop and the rear diff to give you full-time 4wd, then there would be added pressure going along the propshaft and transfer box without a central diff, and most likely kill your gearbox quicker.
