Possible DV problem??

Evening all, went out for a drive earlier with my son who insisted on having his window down, good job really because every time i lifted off the throttle or on gear changes i could hear what i'd describe as a fluttering type noise, am i right in assuming the DV is knackered?

Yes mate, all standard except the air filter.

Thats what i was thinking fella, or a bailey dv30. Santa may have to visit earlier lol. Cheers.

Don't leave it too long mate! The 'flutter' is the blades cutting through the reversed air as the dv isn't recircing! This will slow the turbo down quickly and can cause damage to the shaft and blades.
