Stroker Kit Has Finally Arrived

Well its taken about 10 weeks to arrive but finally my stroker kit has turned up.. Ordered from Intergrated Enginnering, they came into UK fairly quickly but customs held it for weeks.. Pagparts manifold also showed this week.. SO lets get the project started..

I was going for gt2871 but seems silly spending all this money and not getting most out of it so i told andy to order a GT30...

Not many have gone the 2.1 as it doesn't give the best rod angle but you can avoid that with the diesel block and 100mm stroke crank to give 2.2 but not worth the extra cash.

There also not the most square of engines, i would of gone 2008cc if i could of found a good cheap 2.0FSI crank ( about £500+ )

The 2.1 2067cc is a cheaper option i went for as you can pick up a Mk Golf TDI crank for £150, there good and strong for my needs anyway. The diesel crank have never been put though any high revs and they are strong due to been put under high compression high boost engines.
