Central locking pump

Hi,
Does anyone know the part number for an 8L S3 Central locking pump.
How much is one of these fitted? Is it a long job??

Hi

There about 250 from Audi then they have to be programmed to your car as they have the immobiliser built in.

What normally breaks is the graphite impeller which is quit easy to replace, either buy the kit from eBay or a whole unit and strip out the parts wanted like I did

Mine is still working, however it has just started ticking... constantly, even when the ignition is off.... quite confused.... Any ideas?

Mine Took ages to open the locks I could just hear he motor working trying to build up pressure
Evenually it did pack up

Not got a part number as it was paid for by Warranty Direct in June, but it cost £535.76 fitted by Audi Plymouth. Glad I wasnt paying for it, If i had I would have tried one of the eBay repair kits as it was the carbon discs indie that had given up the ghost.

Oh dear, thanks for that though.
The weird thing is the central locking etc is all working fine still. Just this noise coming from the pump.
