Angry A new Dent and not impressed

I have a new 4 inch long dent and 3mm deep on the rear panel from last night, I am almost certain who might have caused it, it's a stupid Sainsbury van driver on the road, as the line of his metal bumper matches those of the dent as well as the colour swap. What could I do about it? I have not confronted the guy! Should I or just call up Sainsburys.

Please shed your thoughts, this is the second dent on the same panel. And it was painted fresh 10 month ago by Audi approved garage.

    Options?
    1. Call up his insurance
    2. Confront him in person? I am not 100% sure if it was him.
    3. Ignore it its just metal!
    4. Call up dent man or similar?

Just call Sainsbury and say you saw him do it as he drove off but not sure if he noticed or not and it was too late to stop him.

nice one, I would honestly be happy with him paying up a dent man but I agree with these wise guys here I will call up in the morning and see how they can avoid me at all costs.

I personally would not "fabricate" things as the van may have a tracker, and they will ask you what time the incident took place, if the van was 20 miles away, at that time..... you may end up in court for deception....

Can you inspect the van and see if there is in any paint swap?
If there is call the old bill, as he has failed to stop.....
