Hi peeps,

Ive tapped my boost gauge into the top of my DV R-Tech said i should move it to the the FPR instead. Whats the reasoning behind this if any? i didnt ask why at the time without thinking i just thought yeh cool ill do that when i get home.

anyways any ideas?

cheers :icon_thumright:

Some say this, others disagree.

Neither is right or wrong IMO.

Both the DV Line and the FPR line are vac feeds from the inlet mani at the end of the day, they both produce the same result.

However, the FPR is rising rate based on boost, so a good feed is important. If you are tapping a T into it, then IMO you are increasing the potential for there to be a leak in the line to the FPR, which could have a negative effect on fuelling.

Some will disagree with me, but that's how I see it personally.

wont the N249 valve affect the reading if you plumb it in to the top of the DV like you say you have? unless you have done the N249 bypass...??

AGU but im sure u know that now from other threads. do i have the N249 valve?
