Definitive info on1999 s3 tyre pressures on 17's

Evening everyone

Anyone got any real info on the tyre pressures apart from the blurb inside the filler cap? If so, please let everyone 'kno. Any improvements to be made by changing them and, if so, up, down, back to front or every which way (but not loose)?

I run 35psi all round.

I put 38psi all round. a bit high but works well for me.

jesus thats high!!! i put 29 front 27 rear

34 front \ 36 rear if I want it stiff.

32 front \ 34 rear if I want it a bit softer.

One of the sticky threads on suspension has info no tyre pressures, recommends setting the rear higher than the front, as it helps reduce the natural understeer of the S3. Not sure how much this applies if you have it lowered and uprated ARBs - as they should reduce the amount of understeer?
