Hi basically in the next month i will be buying a k03s for my 1.8t agu engine but im not 100% weather to get a genuine vag charger or an aftermarket one of ebay, i would like to get one of ebay for obvious reasons bieng thats its cheaper to buy new but i wasnt sure how strong they are? cheers, Dean

Don't get one off eBay!!! The China-charger's may seem like a good deal but turbo's are precision pieces of kit. They spin at a couple of hundred thousand RPM and as such need to be made from the right materials. There is a reason turbo's are expensive and cutting costs here could lead to cracked housings and worst case, the compressor wheel will shatter and go for a trip through the engine and I'd be very suprised if it didn't chew your valves and bores in the process!
Stick to the tried and tested for something that important. You wouldn't want to fly in a plane with some all new (never tested) cut price (bad materials) China made jet engines
