Our lasses 1.9 tdi, when you turn the ignition on it instantly goes up to about 80 degrees. Finally settles about 110 when driving round. I bought a new sensor, plugged it in and the temp is no different. So i assume this is the dash. Is there anything common on these?
Temp gauge has a mind of its own.

Took the dash out today and stripped it down, i think the connection on the 3 pins going to the gauge unit must've been loose. Gave them a wiggle and plugged it back in. Reads perfect now.
