    xenon bulbs

    hi iv got 8000k xenons on my s3 and just wondering if was to buy some 6000k bulbs would they work with the 8000k balasts and be brighter tar gaz
    350bhp & 316ftlb BBT new k16 7+7 blade hybrid turbo, Welly cooler, jetex filter, relentless ported v3 manifold 3" downpipe & de-cat, liquid gauge, r32 rear arb, AGU ported and polished Head, 550cc injectors, kw v2 Coilovers, s3dave tie bars & heat sheild, milltek cat back, I.E forged rods, brembos, inline fuel pump, v3 badger 5 tip, devils own WMI kit, AGU pistons, rear grooved discs & brembo pads, ds2500 pads & EBC ultimax disc, stack boost gauge

    Shouldn't be a issue, 8000k ballast won't make a 6000k d2s bulb brighter though. If you want decent light output on the road then go for oem 4300k or 5000k.

    A ballast simply ignites the bulb, it's the tempreture of the bulb what effect light output

    You can upgrade the Ballasts also. Ours are 35w there are 55w available.

    thanks there not ds2 bulbs iv swopped them for a hid kit 8000k but there not that light and selling my genuin ones,the hid kit is very blue , looks like ill have to sell that and just get a 6000k hid kits then tar
