help replacement part what is it.

Dose anyone know what part the strip is that runs along and above the number plate, mine has bubbling paint and need a replacement.​

Shame it wasnt a couple of years newer because it might have been covered on the VW/Audi 12 year paint warrenty.

Take it to a local body shop and ask them to respray it. Will cost about 50 squid

Thanks for the comments people, the pic is not of my tailgate my car is a x reg 2001 so would it still be under warrenty I have only had the car a month and a half, second owner I would have thought if it was still under warrenty the last guy would have had it done.
