heated Seats

Hi,

I did a search and can not find any information on wheather the recaro seating in S3 is pre wired for heating? i was hoping to save myself the expence of getting a car with it in and just maybe buying the switches and a connector? is this possible?

I'm not sure...there has been debate on this issue, with replies stating both the fact that they are, and they are not.

To be honest, it's not an expensive option from the factory...surely you'll not save anything by retrofitting?
By the time you've bought the looms, connectors, switches, bits of trim etc...

I can't believe that the dealers are charging much of a premium for cars with heated seats.
Are they?

Its manily the fact I have a much larger net to choose from if I can fit it myself.

On a side note - an S3 with 50k on the clock and a service due in 7k miles. Would you expect that service to be the £600 4WD service?

what price is it up for? Jedi & I, having both bought within the last fortnight similar aged cars would be in a good position to advise you on that one!
