audi a4 interior in an audi a3 1.8t

hi all,

my local scrap yard has an audi a4 2.8 quattro with perfect black leather interior, i was wondering if this would fit in an audi a3 1.8t 8L chassis as i have the standard cloth interior and i dont really like it to much, both cars are 1998 plate.

Front seats probably fit but the back seats may need cut not to sure TBH!!!

Possible, but unlikely. Very early a4's had a more simple seat fixing system like the audi 80, then later cars had the same mounts as the a3. My dads 97 a4 has the older system which won't work, but I do t know when they changed. Then youve got the tilt issue, unless your car is a 4 door then they'll be useless to you as they won't tilt forward! I don't think they made a 4 door a3 back in 98, so yours must be 3 door
Also, the rears are totally different.
