How To Remove The Interior Mirror, Having A Replacement Windscreen

Hello all,

Any idea's on how to remove the interior mirror as im having a replacement windscreen fitted tomorrow & dont want the bloke just ripping it off.

Also what else should i be looking out for when he's removing the screen ?

It should be fine mate. They do it on every car so you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Just make sure he positions the mirror back in the same place though because the Autoglass man who done my friends one put it a bit lower than it was before and is kinda in your face.

Mate dont worry,it just clips off,they will do it for you.

Normally if you go through insurance,you just pay the excess & it doesnt affect your premium.

Mine just cost me £70, but when looking at the invoice it was about £450!!
