Floodlight bulb, 2002 S3

Hi guys, search turned up nada!

What bulb do I need for the floodlight (bulb that turns on when the door opens at the base of the doorcard)?

Car's in the carpark at the moment so can't check and about to try and order online so it'll be here for this weekend fingers crossed. Failing that, it's Halfrauds!

It's a long one similar, if not the same as the interior light ones, whatever they are called.

ok, my car is also outside... is there a footwell light?

the reason i ask is that Chris in the prject room flooded his foot well with red light and i like it

Ambient / Floor Lighting - I purchased a pair of red door light covers from Audi and swapped them with the clear lense's under the dashboard and hey presto - a nice red floor to go with the red leather - very nice at night-time!

I've found the answer to be potentially 501 wedge bulbs, literally a second before you posted Joe buddy. Thanks, have some spare so will report back as I'm sure others will want to know!

i tried putting brighter led 501s in and some dont fit because of the size or simply dont light up enough because the led are facing the wrong way.
your prob better off with just a 501 bulb instead of led
