S3 Oil - EXOL?

Hi, first post for me here. I've done loads of reading about correct oil and ended up buying 25litres for both my S3 and A4 1.9 TDI. I figured it will do both but now am not sure (after more reading) that it is correct for the S3. Up until now i have been using semi synth every 10k but plan to this new oil every 10k.

I bought EXOL LSV Optima 5w/30 FULLY Synth, VW 504 and 507 spec.

Is there a simple answer if 5W 30 is ok or if it has to be 5w 40? Opie Oils recommends 5W 30.
