Will wheels as following fit on my 1999 A3?

Stud Diameter: 100
Rim Width: 7.5J
Rim Diameter: 17
Number of Studs: 5

Mary, check out here, this will explain the offset that was being queried.

The 5x100 is the Pitch Circle Diameter (PCD).
The 5 relates to the number of studs in your mounting flange, 100 relates to the diameter of circle the studs lie on (imagine a 100mm circle, the centres of the five stud holes on your hub mounting flange will all sit on that 100mm circle)

Looks like they should be okay, if not then you always got spacers to help you out so don't worry.
