I'm thinking of buying these wheels to replace my standard S3 wheels what do you all think??

Id go for it m8 RS6s suit the S3 down to the ground, considering getting a set for winter.

OK, looking at the ad, the tyres are the wrong size for your S3, this would suggest it's off an A4 most probably, which in turn means they won't fit your car, wrong offset and stud pattern.

Oh dear does that mean I would have to get hub adapters and change the tyres???

tires will be fine. but yeh check stud pattern. offset shouldnt be too far off standard

So would adapters be necessary?

depends on the offset. if its more than standard then you could probably do with spacers, that is all, otherwise they wouldn't fill the arch. you'l have to ask the seller. and also make sure they're 5 x 100 once you know them its all systems go.
