Forge short shifter

i have a forge short shifter sat on my shelf, so thought i might have at go at fitting it when i can be bothered to get out of bed, is it pretty straight forward to fit, any hints or tips?

Can't advise how to fit it as mine was fitted for me but make sure you adjust it to its shortest setting.
