Looking through all the pics of peoples A3s I noticed everyones wiper blades sit level with the darkened strip at the bottom of the glass. Mine however sit a few inches above it. Could there be ay reason for this? Its a 52 reg.

I could be wrong and someone else will have to confirm this but I think a lot of people have swapped to using "aero blades". I don't know much more about it other than that sorry!
Is there a guide on here on how to remove the arms? I want to take them off and lower them down a bit.
S3 Front Wiper Arms - Removal
i dont really have any tools at home but Jojo made a really useful suggestion in this thread, they popped straight off
Thanks bud, just what I was looking for. By the way, did you change them over for different arms? Such a flat blade arms? If so which ones fit the A3?
The front arms/blades are from a Mk4 Golf front arms:
W1J2 955 410 D
W1J2 955 409 D
front blades:
W1J2 955 425 B
W1J2 955 426 B
front wiper arm cap X2:
W1J0 955 205 A9 B9
The rear arm is from a Polo (9n)
The rear wiper is from a Touran
rear arm:
W6Q6 955 707 C
rear arm cap:
W6Q6 955 435 D
rear blade:
W7E0 955 425
think it adds up to something like £130 iirc from the VW dealer
edit: btw, you dont need the front wiper arm caps, the ones you have will fit on there fine
