    Epic car cleaning session

    Probably going to be selling the S3 in a few weeks so I thought i'd better give her a good clean and take some pics!

    Cheers for the comments. Still not 100% sure if I will sell her or not to be honest, always wanted a KO4'd Audi S4 B5 though!

    Car does look like a good one. So any genuine buyer out there based on the pictures should secure viewings.

    The wheels look nice really clean, but not sure whether they are my cup of tea. I am just imagining them when they are dirty and cleaning them !
    02 plate - 2002 - 225bhp - S3 - Ming Blue - completely standard - nuff said, OK there's a centre armrest, sunroof, BOSE speakers & black leather recaros, oh and the non OE chrome pack !

    Looks awesome Olly! I know the feeling your having about the k04'd B5 S4, i've spotted the noggy blue and a green one for sale, if you do get a K04'd B5 then you'd definitely be making a good upgrade from your S3

    I'm sure you'll make the right choice!

    Just a small point, but is it the lighting or does the drivers door and front wing look like a slightly different colour ? Has the rear quarter been resprayed or the friont 2 panels ? It may just be the light reflections ??

    Yea, there's a green ko4'd S4 I've been looking at on the AudiSRS forum, prob the same one! So tempted by one! The colours all the same, no damage or respray, had the car checked out by the AA before I bought it. Must be the lighting or something?

    Cars absolutely mint apart from the usual few stone chips on the front. Still undecided about selling, decisions decisions!

    Oh, and as tempting a offer 51p for the LM's is, selling them with the car!

    have you had the bottom grill surround bit wrap'd ? or sprayed ? im looking to do this so was wondering how youve done it! and was it expensive etc !

    Looks really good. I love the front grille surround. I'd like to do this to mine but I'm not too sure what paint to use. I don't want to get stone chips and for it to then look ****e!

    What paint did you use - regular satin black paint or does it need to be a flexible plastic paint type?

    Yea, I love the black grill suround, makes the S3 look much more up to date! I just sanded it down and sprayed with primer and 'audi black' spray paint from Halfords, there was a thread with a good step by step guide on here somewhere.

    There awesome brakes and look sweet too. Just had to replace the discs and pads, only uk importer of MOV'IT are QS Tuning, they quoted me:

    Movit discs/hats £340.00+VAT (EACH!!!!!!)
    Movit 4s3 pads £160.00+VAT a set.
    Shipping £35.00+VAT.
    Total onc VAT £1028.12.

    I managed to find some brand new discs on pistonheads for £300 and some porsche pads for £80 so it wasn't too bad in the end!
