A3 MOT failure!!!

i couldnt beleive it either

basically new front drivers side wheel bearing, drivers side brake line needs replacing and one rear spring appears broken at its base...... boooo, taking it back next Sat to get the work done

You should of heard the bearing gone I would of thought Tim ?

yes chaps....never happened to me before, luckily it was the misus car

cant see it costing more than £150 to be fair, getin the price on Monday.....i knew a bearing had gone but wasnt sure where, could have sworn it was on the rear, sound obviously travelled

new spring replaced
new wheel bearing
front caliper flex hose
and bleeding master cylinder to increase brake feel......

Chap is picking it up on Friday morning and dropping of Fri afternoon....£200 all in - thought it was a tad steep for a cash price but then contacted JBS who wanted £285 for same job, they said to snap his hand off

couldnt identify which wheel, i was going to do a trial and error job by replacing the backs then the fronts in turn.....luckily the MOT ascertained the front drivers side was rough as hell
