I decided to debadge the A3 today and give her a good clean.
That paint has been on there since 1999 so even after 11 years there wasnt much difference in the paint underneath, good news for anyone planning to debadge!
I used the hairdryer and fishing line method, then scraped off the remaining adhesive before using t-cut to blend in the uncovered paint. Then gave her a good clean and polish.
First letter removed... dear God that's a lot of crap under there
Scraped off all the glue and was left with this, used Muc-Off to clean it up.
Then t-cut it, washed and polish... you cant tell the letters were ever there
I'm happy with how it turned out, looks a lot smoother and cleaner without the badges
