alarm siren

does anybody no where the alarm siren is located as my lights flash but there is no sound?

just above the near side rear wheel arch. Go in through the boot, lift out the central locking pump and you should see it underneath.

I changed the alarm as its crap

Yeap the batteries split & the acid seaps all over the pcb & fecks it right up, its one of the most common 8L issues tbh, the newer replacement is alot better, make sure you get a new nut with it aswell, as this has changed aswell & drill out a bigger hole in the fixing plate, job done.

No need, just give audi a buzz as they will know which one & buy it new, dont buy 2nd user, take my word for it as get 2yr warranty then.
