    Red hose from turbo to inlet pipe.... should it have heat wrap???!!!

    As above..... mine hasn't and it seemed verrrry hot and a little smokey!! Not good I assume, I had an S3 engine years ago for a Mk1 Golf and I am sure it had a silver heat shield / wrap with press studs to secure it around the pipe???
    Mk1 16v G60 - Gone but not forgotten.... Mk1 Haldex AWD in progress.... Audi S3 keeping me entertained....

    from factory it does yes! last thing you want is the silicone pipe to deform or burn. so just in case, i would most definately get one.
