engine/something making an oscilating rattle at low revs in gear-a bit like when you used to put a playing card on a clothes peg on your bike wheel (or was that just me?)

Same as. Just learned today that it is probably (tbc wed) an INJECTOR SEAT (made of copper / costs coppers) + two hours labour, hopefully.

Hope it is that and not cam chain or tensioner otherwise its a big bill.Had mine done under warranty but would have cost £1300 ish

What ever it is id be taken it to a garage pretty soon,had same problem with an older car of mine and tensioner was knackered ended up falling to pieces while i was doing 80mph down a back road £1000 worth of damage(long walk with no signal on phone)
Car wasnt serviced properly by previous owner which fu##ed it
