Werid boot light issue

here's a strange one, when i open the boot i expect the boot lights to come on, alas they dont, when i press the eject button on the multi cd, the lights come on, is this normal? lol

Sounds like some kind of earthing issue.

How did you know to press the eject button on the cd changer lol, or did you just press every button in hope.

were you in the boot when someone ejected a CD

I wanted to change the cds in my stack, so pressed the eject button to remove the cartridge, and the boot lights came on, however they dont normaly come on, even when you open the boot, which is what they should do
