what oils?

ive got an A3 1.8 T (8L), R reg, 125k, what engine oil to use and also transmission fluid?

some people on the net have said fully synthetic and others have said part!!!

For my s3 i use castrol edge 5w30 engine oil.
I think the transmission oil i used was motul gear 300, as recommended by another member on here.

Castrol Edge 5w30 for me too, aum 1.8 T.

thanks guys, its just that most the stuff on here is for S3's.

Same engine 1.8 T but S3 has a bigger turbo etc etc but, im no expert.
