Could anybody tell me what quantity of brake fluid i would need for a complete change on a standard s3 brake set up?
I am going to uprate the front pads with ferodo ds2500's.
I am also going to use motul dot 5.1 fluid, however i dont know what quantity to order.
Any feedback will be much apreciated.

researching it on the net it looks as tho i need between 1.5 - 2 litres.
I am a little unclear as to whether i will need vagcom to carry out the fluid replacement? can anyone advise?

Would only need vagcom if you need to cycle the ABS pump. Would recommend you get a pressure bleeder though!

thanks for the reply. I will be getting my mate who is a mechanic to do it but he doesnt have vagcom. thats ok then.
What about fluid will 1.5litres suffice?

cheers s3dave, its getting added to my ridiculously long list of things to do!
