    Quick Question about VAG-COM

    Hey guys, just a quick question about VAG-COM Readings. Ive got the Ross-tech link to show what reading blocks check what. But my question is how can you check if the results are within tolerence? I mean is there a guide somewere to compaire the results i get to what they should be?

    mate, could you please tell me where you plug in your VAGCOM? im going nuts here trying to find it!!! lol

    Plug it in? Connection from your laptop then the Bigger end of the cable fits just under the ask tray. Theres a cap you need to pull off that hides the connection.

    My plug near the bonnet release catch if it's not under the ash tray...

    Yep, that's where it is - it's a purple colour (well mine is). It's a bit difficult to see unless you stick you head under the steering and look slightly to the right. I didn't think there was a cover becuase mine doesn't have one - obviosuly lost so your not going to see any colour.
    02 plate - 2002 - 225bhp - S3 - Ming Blue - completely standard - nuff said, OK there's a centre armrest, sunroof, BOSE speakers & black leather recaros, oh and the non OE chrome pack !

    Mine doesn'/didn't have a cover since I've had it (mines purple too)! Facelift is down by the bonnet release catch and pre-facelift I believe is in the centre console by the ash tray. A quick Google should bring up pictures if still struggling.

    Also mine is a pre also, and mine is by the bonnet catch. Seems to be hit and miss. But it will be in one of those two places.

    To the OP - ask on here and post your logs is the best thing.

    Mines a pre n is at the back of the centre console under the ash tray, theres a cover which i find is really difficult to get off.
