I'm thinking when my service comes up I'm going to do most of it myself and just get Audi to do the bear minimum to get a stamp as people seem to like the stamp

Well im no closer to answering this one, thought i would give a few dealers a ring today to get some prices, im more incined to do it myself just down to the sheer attitude of the dealers.

Bath Audi 165 Haldex oil and filter service, 99 "lubrication" Service (amazing how they can make a simple oil change sound like its something amazing)

Bristol Audi 137 Haldex oil and filter service, 99 Lubrication.

Reason i phoned them is becuase Stafford Adui are offering a haldex service for 95 oil and filter, both said "i cant do that price Stafford Audi should be using Audis menu pricing, Bath audi were about has helpfull as a chocolate teapot after quering the price he phoned Stafford Audi to confirm and offered me a discount down 140 which is still more than bristol Audi in which he replyed i would go with Bristol Audi if i were you i mean WTF? 3 dealers 3 different prices none will match the cheapest.

How many miles has the car done? If its hit 100k I would just do it myself, thats the point where I gave up paying for stamps anyway.

Haldex uses special oil and there is a special tool for it. I normally pay for that to get done as its only about 80 from an independent and saves the hassle.
