REMOTE LOCKING KIT

Trying to fit Votex remote locking kit to a 1998 1.8 T SPORT part no.8LO 054 640.Loads of help from Martyn at VAG Parts but still can't get the thing to work.Tried replacement kit but still no joy.Any ideas please from anyone with similar installation.Cheers.

Thanks will check everything out but the central locking pump works fine when I put it all back together again.Cheers,Allen.

i figured the pin 3 thingy out about total closure and mailed martyn who updated the instructions on his web page....probably about the only time i've ever exceded myself! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh_roll.gif

Thanks for the posts,had another go this morning but still no joy.The best I can get is a clicking from the pump.Ah!possibly a problem with the pump?Took the kit off and put it all back together and locking works fine off the key.Given up!!!!!Cheers,Allen.
