After driving down a dark road for the first time in a while last night, i noticed my drivers side dipped beam factory fitted xenon was pointing about 10ft in front of the car, and the passenger one was miles out where i should be.

However, later on in the night, i noticed the drivers one had returned to its original position, and was all good to go again.

Has anybody experienced this before? I had the same problem with my old Citroen C4 which also automatically adjusted the xenons, and it was the sensor on the rear axle which was faulty.

Can anybody tell me if it is the same setup for the Audi, or where to start looking?

Cheers,
Ash.

Theres two adjusting arms for the xenons, one on the front of the car, one on the rear, see if there broke or faulty, if not the adjuster motor in the headlight will be playing up.

Ok cheers, i would say the motor then, seen as though its only one light going lower.
