hi peeps my clucth has gone when they do go does the flywheel go with them or do you need to just change the clucth

one car i chaged the flywheel on in may (on 159k miles) had had the clutch replaced a few years earlier at 112k miles

basically id do the flywheel at the same time to save the labour of doing it twice

if yours is an s3, the labour is a lot more!

Depends, the flywheel can sometimes be cleaned up and reused, check for excessive play once its off. Mine was replaced with the clutch at 103k due to excessive play. As mentioned might be worth replacing at the sametime just because of the time envolved in fitting the clutch. Also replace the slave cylinder while your at it (assuming its an S3) if this fails after you've replaced the clutch your going to have to do it all again and possibly replace the clutch again.

Im going to have my clutch replaced with the solid clutch flywheel conversion kit, to remove the dual mass. Look into them before you change it.
