whats the most likely boost leak location?

hey, does anyone have pics of what the most likely places for boost leaks are and where they are in the engine?

also how do you go about pressure/smoke testing the system?

Under the inlet manifold (all the vac hoses down there), busted DV, and intercooler/s where the core joins the end cap.

cool thanks, I'll check it out under the inlet manifold, are they easy enough to see or is there anything particular i can do to get better access or to test them?

Thats the only way to be able to see properly. Two allen key bolts, BE CAREFUL of the dipstick shroud - it will most likely be brittle and break.

is this the same on the A3 or there other places? i just wanna make sure before i get my remap. Also does vagcom show if ur missing boost at all?
